ELTEK Flatpack HE 2000w *NEW* *ULTRA Efficient Charger*

Post by Merlin » Sep 08, 2016 5:41 pm

Yup guys,
its not a dream, here you can have as much as you want to charge your:

- 13s Original Ebike Battery(all 48v Ebikes)
- Adaptto Powered Ebike (as you allready know :P)
- Feeding some RC Chargers with Power up to 2000w
- 2 of them in Series for your Zero Motorcycle

or whatever your skills can do with these "Can Bus" programmable Supplys ( i cant do that. But here are some Topics on ES)

Now i can Program it to any Voltage you need between 43,5 - 57,6v.

So here are the Facts....

Elteks "HE" version with an efficiency up to 96,5% (and thats not a fake)
if you squeeze them out to max, it generates only 60/70w of heat.
Like a CPU in your PC.
Thats why they had only a small tiny fan.

You know allready other Server PSUs like IBM, HP, Meanwell etc?
You switch it on and the fans running allready with a noise you cant sleep or watch TV while charging?
Your gf or wife kicks your ass not charging late evening? :D

not here. Video Below charging with adaptto. Superb :D
if you charge only with 700-800w you will hear NOTHING if you dont push your ears on it.

Not from China, genuine from Eltek Germany. I have 50 Pieces for sale.

PRICE: 120€ + 10€ Shipping in Europe // 29€ Rest of the World

Any Questions? Just PM me.

If you want a Ready to Charge Supply i can add some 4x 2,5mm² wires for charging up 2 60amps. -> PM me

here is how i did it:

Merlin,

Even if you can get the Flatpack S 1800W at a great price please let me know!!! these are the top! with 97% eff and 47W per cu inch !!

I actually have two and need more. These two together are the size of a Sabvoton controller ! and output near 4kW DC!

wow thank you etrike :D
also for the Math of wasting money and energy. :)

on that video the psu is louder than real because the Camera is really near to it.
i could give a money back guarantee for guys who wants to sleep while charging with 1000w

Doc, i asked also for the "S" but they are that expensive you allready find out. If you buy one you could have it for 360€ a piece. thats also too much for me to charge my amp monster :P

i got this 50 pieces only because of our company (Big IT DataCenter). They are latest Firmware/Revision and i was really nice to "her" on the phone ;D

another one flys out to australia, ready to use for Adaptto setup :)

46 left for you guys :)

No need to charge trough an Adaptto which lowers the efficiency.

But 10s need some special Arduino code with CAN module because 43.5v would overcharge it. I work on it.

Is it quieter then a EATON Charger?

Btw: I would buy one, if I would not already look for a new 2.5kWh Battery..

Yes, sure ...
Bulk charging works fine. (if you are on 13s without a Stepup coil like Adaptto or a Stepup DC DC for higher Voltage)

I understand that these would output rated DC amps at 220v input that is the standard ubiquitous voltage in EU, but that means it would only provide up to 1000W on a standard US 110-120V AC input, right?

Is it possible to program it to configure it to take more AC amps from 110V circuits? Most are rated at 15A here but there are also 20A ones.

How do we get this working for 14S? I am almost considering a lower voltage pack just so I can use this psu, I don't need to go faster than 60 kph anyway.

Is can that difficult to interface with? https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13262

Or do we not have the specific messages used for this power supply?

This looks great, better than anything else available, but I am yet to find my perfect charger. I have only two requirements:

1. Small and light enough to make sense for on-board mounting;
2. Powerful enough to use the full 20A on a 110v outlet.

Eltek is very close to this but de-rating to 1000w at 110v is the party killer.

I think that in most cases it's actually 120v, not 110v.
But I though 220/2 = 110 and 2kw/2 = 1000w would apply here. No?

It should be closer to 1300W output on 110V.

The RSP are made for different purpose and have better resistance on vibrations and IP water resistance while the server power supply are made to be static... RSP serie from meanwell is one of the most tought power supply i have ever seen. Eltek offer now some of the most high power density ever acheived with the S serie from flatpack.. each brands have their pros and cons
