Alien Drive Systems- Stunt scooter from scratch

New Med scoot has come together nicely- i'm particularly proud of the one piece hand control..super neat -
I've had a short test ride and on 8S 5065 motor- its fast (25mph)but usable..:)
Nice acceleration and an overall weight or 7.kg..

Next job is to strip it for Paint- and LED fittings.

well..in order to get them at a reasonable cost..i need to buy 10 chassis min... so i need a group buy really ..otherwise i'm maybe stuck with them..
would you consider a pre-order with a deposit? to try to get the ball rolling?

Yes. Should start a list and see how many people are interested.

I've expressed interest in the past and I would still buy a chassis

from you.

ok- to actually build that exact same scoot- (white one)..would cost around £1100 (this includes my time to build)....
The chassis only would be around £250... (would need wheels/bars/clamp/forks-adding)

which way do people want to go?

Would be nice to include any custom parts needed. Sprockets, wheel adapter and such. So maybe a base package for people to source the rest of the off the shelf parts and an option to buy those other parts wheels, clamp, fork ect. if you are interested in stocking them. Otherwise just point us in the right direction.

Hit the nail on the head, chassis and accessories, if not just a list of what you used to complete the scoot would be fine.

Yeah done really well by there looking at the video it seems fast enough and it looks very lite thats always my main task light enough to lift in through house, keep carpet clean or I get hammered.

Im very tempted to use your build design, ill reuse the front forks from my razor with a disc brake front and rear wheel and build it to acomadate 20s or so with hyrdraulic brakes all round, I like the 4inch tyres myself as they have plenty of suspension built in on the side wall and take up very little room, my aim will be just over 4kw with a boma style motor.

i used your gtb2 housing on my daughters scooter. it did have a 63mm motor until it broke so now has a 50mm until i get the 63mm one fixed.

I love your scooters! I would be building my own from scratch if I had a TIG welder. I'm going to have to make it a goal to get one this year. I'm definitely envious of your builds.

cheers- well thats my problem at the moment- i gave to have the parts fabricated by a company at a cost ...so im limited really..and hence why they are not that cheap to make- (and sell on)

xadmx-That housing is nice- whats the scooter you based it on?

i made it myself. it did have a balanceboard wheel on the back, but it was only mounted to the one side as the balanceboard wheel has one shaft.
but i cut it all off and welded some more bits on the back to take the shaft. its made from 20x30mm box section and 1.5mm tub on the bottom that the batteries sit in and razor e100 front wheels.
its not light but it shifts with my daughter on it. the only thing i have found the sound resonates into the hollow frame making it loud so i might drill some holes and fill it with silicon :).

Hi Beetbocks !

Here we go, I find a really good deal for a dirt scooter like I want  (oxelo model to start a 1th proto less than 50€)

Now was thinking about how do it well (like you :p or Keith_hill but can't make a frame like both of you ... I have absolutely no knowledge in welding nor even the material :| )

that is the boy.

If you or someone else had a link on the anatomy / composition of a scooter (I found only very basic images with handlebar, wheel, ...)
I try to understand how this link with the handlebars works, to increase and reinforce its hold and its height (I measure 1m95).

When I see your piece ! wow look so strong and tall Unlike that mounted on mine ... (red pieces)
And your deck (carbon layer) is exaclty what I would like too "protect" the mounted motor on the top of the deck. It is a custom manufactured ?

I see you sell, full frame, but do you steal sell parts :D ?!

Many thanks for your inspiration and your help, I will start a topic !

Best electric regards

Stunning work sub d

The red clamp is just a standard 4 bolt stunt scooter clamp and wide bars

Yes, thanks beetbocks
At first I was a little lost, but now that I disassembled it, I searched for what handlebar fastening system I had (simple compression system screwed) and I watched quite a few videos
Got many parts who will comes + your Motormount ! Its gonna be AWESOME !!

Many thanks once again and good ride.
