honestly - I have no clue how to make it charge without opening the board and disconnecting the circuit
2*4s lipos and in series, to charge them I need to plug them to parallel charging board, disconnect stabilizing wires from low voltage meter and also plug them in parallel charging board..
there will be so many extra wires and connectors...

Just a put charging port (deans connector for plus /minus and a 8s parallel cable). Then buy a 8s charger on eBay..
I've done the same on my scoots. Works perfectly. :)

Or just fit a BMS (battery management system)

Hi!

Have a look at my build here: https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=84487 I used a lower KV motor and 12S. I have geared 5:1 and can get 24.3mph reliably. I designed it to do 25mph so i'm pleased.

I'm not sure how you are getting on with gearing and speed but i have overcome a few problems with my build.

All the best!

Keith

I stumbled upon this thread, looks like I am the new owner of this scooter. I picked it up yesterday. And it still works! Needs to be deep cleaned and gone through, but impressive it still works anyway.
