They have it at luna for $20, but they have a 29" option and a 700c option. One of those is wrong though. I would call them and ask.

Tried both out of stock. One acted like they had them but removed the buy botton , so I guess there out. Going to the great north before trump closes that border. Justin here I come.

This is a bit worrying. Quality Bicycle Products doesn't list the DM24 on their site anymore. J&B Importers dropped it a while back. Man, I hope the manufacturer hasn't done anything stupid.

The Luna Tease of having it on the website for 20 bucks and out of stock . Grin has them but 102.00 usd shipping. What ? I live between L.A. and san Diego and can't find a Alex dm24 26in 36h rim. Remember I'm cheap.

I get thr cheap shipping price of $52. WTF!?

Find a comparable cheap rim.
Or call around to all the bicycle shops in your area and see if they stock that rim.
You may luck out.

The Weinmann DM30 has an almost completely identical extrusion to that of the Alex DM24-- lacking the Alex rim's eyelets and superior workmanship, though.

For the time being, Main Street Pedicabs continues to offer the 26" Alex DM24 for $25, but only in 48h drilling. That doesn't offer good options for lacing to 36h hub motors.

Chalo thank you xtreme had one (1). So brought it. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1258/7713/products/JBI.48001.main.0.62cd6cba86829df8509deb58b1bdd4b4_a8846120-e645-48a3-a660-4008a6afc39b_1024x1024.jpg?v=1485118376It's for an edge 1,500 watt 4t from evolutions. A little pricie but the other opion would be a steel stamped rotor leaf motor. I do have a alex in a melted muxus 3,000 v1 5t. I will use on the craked rim on the 3,000 v3 4t. I hope the old rim is ok to relace. Meaning is it ok to take an old rim and use it on a different motor. As do they seat or something as I shouldn't use old rim ?

Hey 9'er
If you want to use an already laced rim, you have to take your time in unlacing it. Pretty much the reverse of how you laced it to prevent from deforming the rim. In contrast taking an angle grinder to the spokes is not a good idea.

It's almost certain that the rotor of the v1 and 3 are the same, or at least close enough to be able to simply take the covers and fried stator out of the v1, and put the v3 stator and covers into that.

Then you don't have to relace anything at all.

(unless it's the magnets of the v1 that are fried, and not the halls or wiring)

I know the stator are different. And the v1 lacing wasn't the best job. I unlaced the rim and taped it to the v3 and worked it a set of 4 at time. Have got the rough offset but want to make it a perfect circle and keep the offset with washers on the freewheel side. 72 spokes. Oh used the old spokes of the newer v3 and replaced 4 nipples. Didn't take that long now down to the local mountain bike store see if I can borrow their wheel truer. Thanks guys .Now just wate for the wennmann rim and edge motor as the v3 will be a wall hanger. Or have three comoly mtb in my garage. But means a 15fet for the edge and a battery. $$

I went the local mtb store and they told me tomorrow 9:00am. Got home and brock out my truing stand a bed frame folded and weld at the top of the pyramid. Cut a slot with angle grinder. So use a stainless steel ruler 4 the roundness drilled a hole and put a pull tie through it and cut to length or width. We check tomorrow for true with their stand.

The weinmann dm30 for 29.00usd shipped it came in 4 days from extreme. will laced today with the edge 1,500 watt spaim 13/14 spokes from justin. I did take down the old Alex dm24 and relaced it to the 3,000. Icounted 10 replaced spokes over the year or so. My second wheel build. It had a lump in it so checked the tire and ripped side wall. Replaced it with some old cheap tire and helped a bunch. But still and old bounced around rim .
