since these cells are a bit older i'm expecting to do a bit more balancing on them. the objective is to be able to simply plug in this gadget into the group that needs balancing. since each channel is independent it'll simply charge its channel up to 4.20v and stop. this is just a prototype so i'm starting out with just 6 channels.

these are cheap TP4056 charging boards. no "F" logo on the chips so they're counterfeits

since you can't use a common power supply i'll be using 6 independent power supplies: Ktec 5v 2a wall warts (UL Listed!)

to be continued...

wow thanks for the tip. i was totally unaware of that thing. i even searched this forum for "B0505" and nothing turned up

that would allow me to use just one big 5V supply. i'll order a bunch of them asap

I will build myself a kit too, to charge 4s lipo, if it works well enough, it will charge my 12s

can you put webcam over tp4056 in TIMELAPSE mode, so we can see if they shut off at the same time.

Just for fun

as mentioned earlier these are FAKE tp4056 chips. accuracy is a lot worse than i expected, they range from 4.11 to 4.25. totally unacceptable

so i'll be ordering these TP5100 modules. the 2A charging current should be a big plus. switchmode so cooler running. google doesn't turn up anything for "fake tp5100" so these are most likely legit. keeping my fingers crossed...

I would go for the tp5000, as said in the video it is better.

I gathered more info, but I forgot :(

Also, you might know the company "chargery" from China,

they make cool battery stuff and they are going to roll out a 12s battery charger soon.

I might grab that instead of doing the tp5000 shit.

Mainly because I could potentially charge to 4.1v

Ill keep you updated, Bye
