Electra Mechanica Sparrow

The Sparrow 2... entering production soon?
i LOVE it! Corbin doubling down on 90's goofiness! An even longer snout! More spots! Hope he has deep pockets. Now I'm really wondering how many grey haired connoisseurs of the golden age of lead are out there!
At least he seems to have fixed the problem of the hoods which never fit at the front. As much as I like Corbin's helmet-on-wheels concept, I have to admit Jerry's Solo is a lot more now looking. I hope they both do well. Hey, I'd buy one of each if there was nothing in the world better to spend on.

"Golf Ball dimples" very fun. :)

B.C.'s Electra Meccanica plans to start production this summer:

Despite that, Caprilli believes there are enough drivers looking for a practical alternative.

Once upon a time, living in England, my parents had a Ford Falcon station wagon... but for commuting to/from the train station my father picked up a German Messerschmitt "microcar":

Hehe... Nope. But the Messerschmitt my father rode was a two-seater with a passenger seat behind the driver. The "vehicle" back seat large enough to seat myself and my younger brother to do stuff like go to the movies... This was after WWII, where German airplace manufacturer was verboten from making airplanes so used "airplane" parts like the plastic canopy to make tiny (fuel-efficient) "cars".

but the sparrow is my next favorite ride and way more fun than taking a car somewhere.

I would load them both into a metal recycling bailer to use the materials for something exciting.

So they were at the mall today just outside the Tesla dealership space. (Enclosed mall.) Looks nice, but single seat, etc., takes a rich person to shell out maybe $20k to take it home. It's the rare person who can give up their gas car because they have one of these.

And if you know the Porsche 356 Speedster (Their first production car) then you have some idea of their Tesla fighter. But $124k plus what extras plus tax and license?

I don't think we're making progress on prices.
