Question about how legit both this company and their product is for a noob

Hey, this is my first post and venture into the EV world. What caught my eye coming in was this product--> http://www.eastgem.net/electric-cafe-race.html

I love the look of this and have been wanting a "beefier" and old school looking EV motorcycle. My question is two fold. 1) is this company for real? I was considering doing the down payment of half and the other half when it ships (it saves you like $2k if you preorder) but I am nervous about paying over $1000 to a company I know nothing about.

2) I know nothing about what constitutes good stats for an electric bike/motorcycle. Any input on that at all? Do their numbers make sense?

I guess that's all I can specifically ask, but if there is any additional information you guys might glean from their site let me know please? Thanks so much for putting up with my newness!

What "good stats" are is different for each person.
