I saw this ad on Aliexpress (http://s.aliexpress.com/fYFRzQN7?fromSns=) where they sell a 288W / 24V DC motor for 22 dollars. I thought about buying it and using it as a friction drive on the wheel of my bike. Since it has 12000 rpm, I would have to make a reduction of an average 1:60 to get 250 rpm on the bike wheel and have torque to move it. For this, the axle would have to have only 1 cm and be in contact with the tire of 60cm. Do you think it would work? Had she enough friction?
