Okay, well that is kind of steep, I got a quoted yesterday for a new one from Zero for $716.60. So I was hoping to get it for a few hundred dollars. $200-$300.

And I fully understand you. It's just that I can't sell the battery without it.

In the spirit of saving you some money over the new part I can do 500$.

Sadly like I explained before I cant go lower. If I had a dead battery I would sell it 200-300$ no problem. But now I have to take apart a perfectly good battery.

i have a zero xu and need the battery box with bms or cells.
if thats possible to buy.
I understand splitting it is not ideal, but cells and bms are easily still worth something, i am based in eu but have a usa address and will be there also soon.

I already have 540 tesla cells in 3 modules that will be fitted to my bike in the original battery space and it has a sevcon size 4 and me1507 motor.
So the stock battery is half the capacity and a much lower voltage than i need.

So you need everything (box, wiring, bms) except the cells?

Essentially just the box, the bms is for a lower voltage pack than mine.

Sure. The way they assembled it is to prevent you from taking it apart.

They used a bolt to secure it then encapsulated it so you can t remove it. Might have something to do with making sure you pay them over 700$USD! for a new BMS (How ridiculous...)

So like you said you have to drill it out.

It took me 2 min to take out.

Just used a 11/64 bit to drill into the hex nuts.

Drilled 2mm deep (Which is the thickness to the aluminium and then gentle use a hammer and nail (or punch if you are fancy, to free the BMS, it is slightly glued to the aluminium).

And voila! :D

As per some members request the battery was disassembled to sell its individual parts. As of now I only have the assembled cells left.

This is perfect for anyone needing a replacement pack as the cells are already assembled with balance wires and all.

Capacity is the same as when new as motorcycled was always kept in a heated garage and used very little. Pack was always left approximately 80% charged.

Alternatively it would make a nice power wall or pack to power any project. It can easily push out 300A at 48V nominal (14.4kW)

They are up for grabs at 900$USD including shipping throughout Canada and the 48 US states. If you are close to Montreal, QC I can give you a much cheaper price considering shipping is very very costly.

Thank you for all of your help! I was wondering if you could take a picture on the front of the battery where all of the wires are hooked up?

Thank you

Do you still have the battery? I am in toronto but I might be driving to Montreal in about 3 weeks. How much for the battery if I were to pick it up? I looked , but I didn't see how many cells is it?
