Interesting article. So for a cross country tour, you'd have to do your homework. And I do plan on riding in BC this year.

Helmet Laws for adults in effect in BC, NB, NFL, NS, PEI

Alberta: Minors
British Columbia: All ages
Manitoba: Minors
New Brunswick: All ages
Newfoundland and Labrador: All ages
Northwest Territories: No law
Nova Scotia: All ages
Nunavut: No law
Ontario: Minors
Prince Edward Island: All ages
Quebec: No law but education programs available
Saskatchewan: No law but education programs available
Yukon: No law

Quebec has no helmet law for bicycles, but recently they started considering ebikes as motorcycles for helmet regulations. The police usually doesn’t apply this rule, but some are zealous, especially with fast bikes. So, I started wearing a helmet more often. I am a bit frustrated but I still feel that we are lucky that cops are letting us ride fast ebikes. freely.

The reason I posted this article was because I read this article about some power tripping pigs.

Yep. The problem with the police, is their consciousness of crime importance, is relative to average crime type and rate.

In a place where kids are killing each other with guns, riding a bicycle anyhow has no importance. But in a place where nothing happens, mothers pushing baby carts at jogging pace are seen as dangerous criminals.
