+1 here, that bike is going to be something special IMO
I took my alpha out for a nice long ride today, managed to cover 53km over 3h 20m with total elevation gain of 984m.
On board was my 20ah 12s multistar pack with 50v at the start and 46v at the end with sag of about 2v at full throttle.
For most of the first half of the ride I was switching from pas 1-3 and using throttle when going up steep bits, for the last 10km I was using pas 3-5 and going a fair bit quicker so using more battery capacity because I knew I was going to get home with range to spare. I think I could get another 10-20km without too much trouble but my butt is sore enough from 3 hours in the saddle. Another hour would be a bit tedious and butt destroying
The photo is at Black Mountain Tower in Canberra at about 809 metres. The bbshd handled the climb so well I was impressed, it was warm to the touch but not hot at all and there was plenty of climbing after that as well.
So I am happy with the bike for the moment. It climbs extremely well and has excellent handling on downhill sections too. There is one thing that I'm not that happy with, the front wheel is quite hard to pick up over obstacles due to the extra long chain stay length, oh well I think I can live with that for now
