Qulbix Q76R Frame Kits & Complete Bikes PRE-ORDER

before you spend your 400 on a new dnm.....please do yourself a favor and buy a rock shox/Fox used.
its like buying a new car for 8500 ....a 40kw chinese plastic car compared to a used mercedes/Audi/BMW etc...

you feel the difference even without riding.

I am really surprised because for the last years I hear DNM is the best value for money brand for an ebike build.
Is it finally so bad compare to other manufacturers ? I haven't tried something else but my DNM USD-6 works pretty well.
Also why the most of the online ebike shops sell DNM suspensions?

Because if you are a dealer you get it half the price.
It is what it is... Not more or less.
It works yes... But if you ever tried a fox or rs you will even as a beginner feel instantly the difference.

I never saw a dnm on a dh bike.

I don't want to bash these forks because I say it again. For that price it is what it is.

Cruising in your hometown going out for an icecream it's totally OK :p
BUT when you are open for 400 bucks on a fork it is simply a mistake not buying "something other"

Buy a dnm used for 150 no problem... But new it's for me just a bad deal.

What is really impressing is the dual brake....
You can throw out all single 4 piston brakes on the market (hope Shimano, magura etc when the dual brake comes to action.

You can easy flip your bike over with a 20kg/40lbs rear wheel.

Good price on Manitous now, they were around 1500USD before:

it's a great deal!
Does it have similar performance with fox and rs?

Yes, they are great, Manitou Dorado has won countless World Cup races...

@offroader
Do you have any pics showing how you did your terminals on that battery pack?

Edit. How do I tag someone in a post?

What exactly do you mean terminals? I got pics of pretty much everything so I just need to know what you want.

I meant positive and negative leads. Went through the thread again and found the pic. Must have missed it the first time

I ordered the frame over 2 weeks ago I'd really like to look at the manual if anyone has the password. I've Emailed Qulbix over a week ago with no response. What would be the recommended rear shock Length? I've seen 240mm and 265mm for the DNM BURNER-RCP2S.

Thanks

240.
forget the 267length. its way to high/long.
if you wanna go higher the last of 3 mounting points is high enough for 2m ppl.

Thanks I ordered the 240mm last night.

Yes 240 is the smart move. I use a 267 and it works but I guess because there is so much rear travel I had difficulty to get the chain tensioned properly with my rear derailleur but I just was able to get it. I had no more adjustment though.

Would anyone know if the suspension on the Q76. Would that be considered a linear suspension or a progressive suspension?

Progressive would be where as the suspension gets compressed it gets harder to compress.

While a linear suspension would compress at the same rate through the travel.

for a progressive rear suspension system you would likely need some suspension linkage(s) beyond single pivot, or progressive spring and or damping.. of course when you add motor power that can also influence the rear suspension..

I never mounted it but it depends on how much room you have in the battery compartment. I don't have enough room in the battery compartment so I was going to put it inside that space at the very bottom of the bike through the hole.

I'm copying your battery build, except I will use Samsung 30q and I will parallel connect them.. So it will be difficult to fit a bms anywhere inside the frame. Also I cant find a smart bms that would fit width wise.

Here is a great Ant Bms where many use and it fits exactly in Qulbix Q76r frame.

I know the MAX-E BMS fits in this location as I put it in there to see if it would fit. I would of course keep it encased in foam and make sure it is in there so it doesn't bounce around, you will have to push foam in there.

In the picture I circled in red the location I was going to put it.
