Looks pretty good.
Spec.
Battery: 10 Cell / 37V
RPM: 172kv
Max current: 120A
Watts: 5300w
No load current: 44V/1.65A
Internal resistance: 0.021 ohm
Weight: 1080g
Diameter of shaft: 10mm
Suggested ESC: 180A 12S Compatible

I just looked at the ESC that Hobby King sells for this motor, and it is for flight only , will not work with other applications .

Here is their quote ...

" WARNING
This is an R/C plane/heli only ESC. Do not attempt to use it to power car, buggy, skateboard, go-kart or similar machines. The programming logic is only designed for R/C Planes and Heli and will burn if applied to other devices. "

So it looks like someone is going to have to make a higher powered capable
VESC for this motor .
With all the Talent some of the E.S. Members have I am sure we can have a Crowd Sourced/Designed Mega , VESC/ESC .

FWIW, the Rotomax 50cc has been around a while. I expect there have been multiple versions of it, but it's been posted about here on ES for at least 8 years, and builds have been done with it.

There are also "ebike" versions of the VESC and similar under development (might be finished already, haven't looked up the threads in a while).

Looking up the threads shows that a controller does in fact need to be made for this motor to work on a e-bike , and other land based systems .
This person has been looking for over 8 months now ...

Sure would like to see Kepler and others make a custom ESC/VESC for this motor.

It looks like hall sensors need to be added to the motor as well .

I'm confident that any form of VESC 6 will work well with this motor. ESCAP would be my first choice. Unfortunately they are not readily available. FLIPSKY 6.6 should do OK as well. They can both work in FOC so HALL sensors are not an absolute must. Don't use VESC 4.12 for this motor or you will kill DRV.

i actually dont have the motor yet. i asked him the telegram group yesterday and he answered 10 minutes ago that it will run stable till 60k erpm, that is what he recommends to run max

Maybe 100k is in 6 step and 60k is for foc?

All the vesc variants I have played with will switch up to around 35khz before the cpu starts to crap out. At 100k erpm that is about 20 pwm pulses per electrical revolution.
