Magnum Metro: Freewheel Clanking!

No need for 8 or 9 or 10 speeds on an e-bike.
We would all agree that even a 5 speed is more then enough, unless one like pedal assist to one extent or another: The fitness rider, the commuter, the Fuzzy.

I bought an 8 speed, needed a spacer on the freewheel side which is no big deal. Otherwise the frame will touch the freewheel. Ideally a 5 or 6 speed setup would be good, more meat on the chain. All depends on what shifters you got.

I've had no trouble with the derailleur, and I do like having 8 speeds because I am always pedaling and there are 6 PAS levels. Are you saying that the freewheel mechanism is acting up because of the larger cassette...?
