depends on the intended use or rider.. would have a flotation advantage over single front wheel fat bikes in snow, sand, etc.. and trikes can be used by ppl with balance or other impairment where a bicycle may not suit the rider as well..

As Micah pointed out in the video, for extremely rough terrain (ruts, big rocks), two wheels up front allows the front end to stay on top of terrain a bit better. It's a reasonable configuration for rough terrain, and no doubt extra good on snow... Though I would still take a Christini AWD bike with 5" tires and Bafang Ultra over the Rungu for deep winter stuff... But that might be the winter cyclist in me talking. Without a head to head comparison it's tough to know which one actually performs best in deep soft snow.

Off topic curiousity, why not just use a 1500W geared rear hub on the Rungu? That would be quite potent, and offset the front end weight. I like powerful mid-drives myself but if you're going utility vehicle, might as well hub it...
