Hey everyone,

can you fit a wheel cover that has a hub motor?
wheel covers like this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VITESSE-BIKE-WHEEL-COVERS-CARBON-EFFECT-TIME-TRIAL-TRIATHLON-CYCLING-/253108086844
want to best conceal my motor if possible.

thanks,
Sal

Some form of louvered covers could conceivably add an element of forced air cooling to the mix. Unsure how well it would work out in the end, but something I had given a bit of thought towards. Doubtful I'll ever pursue it further than the quiet contemplation stage however.

Yeah I thought the same. With some careful thinking, I reckon I could actually cool the motor better with a cover....hmm any ideas would certainly be welcome.

I saw a post about leaving a small gap between the covers and rim then adding vanes In between the rim and cover to direct the airflow towards the motor. Need to figure out how that would be done though. Just can't imagine it in my head yet

Did you consider wheel skirts? They are not beautiful but probably easier to realize.
