Good to see data for the discussion

“We welcome research into the environmental benefits of new mobility options; however, this study is largely based on assumptions and incomplete data that produces high variability in the results. We believe micro-mobility will reduce pollution and mitigate climate change.”

That statement from Lime in response to the 'study' seems very accurate. Especially when they interview random people on the streets and ask them 'what ifs'. Yeah sure a bunch of tourists will happily tell the young college girl interviewing him that he would be willing to walk, but is that really what wold of happened? Probably not.

The biggest problem is the scooters getting destroyed after 2 months when they are supposed to last 2 years. But this is a problem that companies like Lime are going to need to address if they hope to stay in business long term. If they don't solve it.. then they go away. Either way it's a problem that solves itself.

Clickbate headline.

The article is more about Lime’s operating model and whether or not it would be better if their customers took the bus than it is about electric transportation.

Clickbate headlines makes me sad and angry. Stay honest.
