leaning trike cargo bike front end kit

Hi Hodola,

This sounds promising. Are you able to summarise:

1. Approximate price and likely timeline
2. Confirm specs e.g. track width, turning angle, headtube diameter, if including hubs/wheels, damper etc, materials, paint, weight?
3. Remind me how this improves on the options from B&B, Veleon, Chike etc

Thanks a lot,

Matt
I can't answer your so many items right now, this week the bike fair will take place here and my little red trike will be in the show http://www.taichungbikeweek.com/ ,the cooperation export trader won't let me meet their customers but they can't handle the techniques anyway, if you were interested in my item, keep in touch,I'll give you better c/p product than the trader
Your question #2&#3 almost already shown in the thread maybe with different forms

# B&B too wide and smaller lean angle to ride in narrow lanes
# The Chike trike in low speed, there is turning response lag so you feel the bike like to fall
# Veleon width is 76cm,mine 63cm,steer by cable as Iknow

Thanks - good luck at the show, and looking I have bookmarked this thread so will see more when you are ready

Taichung city and Changhua county - the bike industry area is right in the kingdom of my ancestor

While Taichung city central area is much famous of it's precision machining tools,2nd or 3rd of the world

I did road test of little red G2 in mountain winding road several days ago, the tilt angle 29 degree is fine for majority touring, but it's not enough if you like to do sports down slop riding , so I decide to make G3 go to production as soon as possible

Although lean angle of most cargo trike less than 25 degree, those are not for mountain riding

This afternoon I went to river band gravel paths, with full suspension E trike I can ride everyday, the front suspension is great! last year even rear wheel is fat but without suspension I wouldn't ride it again in rough gravel path

This is great, stellar work!
How much front suspension travel? Have you searched patents to see if there is any risk in violation if you bring it to market?

Ok! I do the clear illustration; 75mm is riding on road with payload, dual front wheels bumped and touched the shock absorber to the bottom

Don't worry! too many others use this kind of front end mechanism, I knew the full floating suspension when I played RC buggy school days

Looks like a lot of fun. I agree that increasing the maximum lean angle is a good idea. I think a cornering video that's not from the riders perspective would be cool to see.

Coward old folk can only ride shopping around, when G3 finished should ask for some young guys demo sports mode

Hi hodala.

Are you planning to sell this kits online??

Yes! but low budget stuck me to go as I should do, if order small quantity of parts the cost is high, surly hard to sell, now I'm just waiting for progression of the cooperative export trader

Reducing weight of suspension A arms- from 450g to 390g, now is 300g

The tilt lock brake is useful when riding cross road frequently stop and go in a city, now only 1 caliper 1 disk, will be better with dual in G3

G2.5 should have assembled last week, delayed due to a Chinese factory lied he can supply me the machining parts of steering knuckles, even 10 days ago he said the part already done and will be sending soon, last Thursday when I confirmed again, no message at all then I understood I've wasted time for 1 month,so ordered the part in local workshop as soon as possible hopping the 2.5G prototype bike be in the exhibition March 4th 2020 Taipei cycle show

The complete bike in exhibition is a dual battery cargo type assembly with my front end kit

I supposed maybe G3 could also exhibit in cycle show, it's too late to prepare now

I guess you had just searched and saw the elements on the website then register

I need some other times to prepare what package and ingredients of front end kit should be then start a new thread on items for sale column

The trader ask for a bucket can carry 1 child in front, and I know rear wheel in the show is 26" now
