Hey All,

I recently got my CYC X1 Pro up and running with the BAC800. Its been a lot of fun riding it around town on my commute. Lots of work to do on it still but LiPo seems the way to go to get the most out of this motor!

Here is a bit of footage from during the week!

Cheers

on another note, ert did help this youtube shop in florida make the world fastest sur ron light bee at 86mph gps verified with 2 devices. for that guy, since he is a big youtuber, you dont want to come off as unresponsive. this bike started at 45mph top speed then $7k later 86mph

The CYC manufacturer is working on their own ASI tuning so maybe soon you can use these controllers without buying from that clown.

Looks like Kamloops BC?
As I mentioned on FB, I got my BAC800 Gen 2 direct from CYC and it needed tuning.
I finally had some time to mess with it, and I also reduced the voltage to 52V. Cranking up the current regulator bandwidth makes a huge difference to reducing jitter. Still needs more work, but it's much better than before, and seems stable up to 2+kw. Interesting that you mention the performance difference with Lipo. I do notice it's quite a bit quicker when the battery is warm and therefore has less sag. More so than other systems I've built.

Hey Paul,

Good to hear you made some progress with the BAC. What is your opinion on the Torque Sensing BB?

Cheers!
