You are invited to the First Electric Vehicle Fun Run EVent at the North Carolina Center for Automotive Research (NCCAR) March 20-23, 2020. NCCAR is a premier location for safely testing vehicles of all types and training professional drivers. NCCAR is located in Garysburg NC.
Numerous accommodations are available nearby and camping is available at NCCAR..
The schedule will revolve around you, the participants. Come one day or every day. This EVent is open to any school program, individual or business with a current electric vehicle project or are planning one for the future.
EVent goals include:
Create a community for sharing EV knowledge and safe practices
Provide the opportunity to test your vehicles in a safe environment
Investigate the possibility of creating an annual/biannual EVent with specific competitive objectives worthwhile for all levels of education and participants

Introductions and General Safety
Open discussion of what each group would like to learn about electric vehicles, vehicle presentations and interests in future competitive EVents
Devise a plan as a group for afternoon track time. (Open discussion of how each group would like to utilize track time- Possibilities include but not limited to: scrimmage or rally type event, autocross, testing, driver training, trackside technology workshops, etc)
Noon- Break for Lunch
1 pm Afternoon Track Time
7 pm Evening Shop Time (Time to tune or repair your vehicles, help others repair or collaborate)
