Maybe a roller/guide wheel on the belt at the underside of the front sprocket (4 o'clock) that wraps the belt even more around it might help? It can be a fixed/stationary roller as the belt tensioning is done at the rear sprocket.
Thanks, that's not a bad idea I think...there is already a mount point near there from where the chain tensioner used to be, so that wouldn't be too hard to make work.
Adam, what do you think?

Cheers

We just received the 118T sprokets with one integrated flange and assembled two bikes using this. The sproket profile has been improved from V1 and should last longer, while we find a solution for 14T steel sprokets.
Best regards, Adam

We have shorter ones available, but they have a wider Q factor and only the hole is mooved inwards, so they have the same lenght as the 170mm ones.
We are waiting an order for miranda for new 170mm cranks, they could also provide them with shorter length, but with the ongoing situation shippments get delayed a lot.
Regarding the new controllers, they offer better waterproofing and torque sensor response. The display is color and has 5 modes.
It is not user tunable, but it is upgradable via USB.
Best regards, Adam
miranda cranks are direct mount, are you going to sell the whole system?
Is there any offset or boost on the chain line?

Hi Adam.
I had a beautiful ride this morning. Dusty track, rocks and roots, ups and downs. Fantastic.
On the way back home. The belt started to squeal. Quite badly. It had never done this before. I‘m at about 350km with the belt drive. On 2 or 3 occasions a slipping sprocket. Only one tooth.
I decided to clean the belt and drive sprocket and gear.
See what I have found. It goes in the direction you are talking about. We need steel.
See the ware on the sprocket. It’s nearly all gone.
The rear still looks OK.
The belt looks OK.

Thanks for the feedback, we are working with our suppliers on steel belts sprokets.
In the meantime I can send you a replacement alu sprokets with improved profile.
I would like to know if it does still slip with a new sproket and same belt.
Best regards, Adam

Yes please!
My replacement belt is now also slipping. It only lasted about 50km without slipping before it is now doing it just like my last belt so I think it's the front sproket like mentioned above.

Can you also do a 15T in Aluminium?

Cheers

Battery just arrived, all up 27.2kg, so pretty good for this level of power and battery compared to my Norco at 23kg

Sweet build Briangv99. Happy with that fork? What size is it, 27.5" or 29"?

I have only 3mm clearance between my fork brace and tire, which seems way to little.
For this and other reasons I'm considering switching to the new Fox 38 in 29" version. (27.5+ 2.8" tire has same outer diameter as 29")

Would running a 180mm 29"er fork on this 27.5" bike change the ride characteristics?

Hey Eddy, Adam sure had turned out a great bike, biggest problem as I see it is it kind of makes my other bikes redundant :(

My fork is a 27.5+, which I suspect is very similar to the 29er model. I've got plenty of clearance with my Maxxis Minion DHRIi 27.5x2.8 tyres.

Don't think you'll have a problem

 Had no idea you got one Brian...nice surprise!

I think we may be the only one's in Aus with them. :D

Now we will have to for a ride together once you've got it up and running.

Cheers

Very keen to get some video of the bikes together on the trail.

Strange to be the only in Aus and both in Canberra too!

Yes, Please. Took the bike for a 3km run and the squeak is now permanent. It must be the belt moving in the worn profile.
Don‘t want to use the bike until I get the new sprocket, so not to ware the belt in any way.

I have the same squeak! I did managed to get rid of it on my previous belt using some lube around the sprocket and roller, but I'm not keen to repeat that now that the belt is slipping on the sprocket as it will only make that worse.

I can still ride my bike in mode 1 and 2. Mode 3 is unridable, and even mode 2 will slip if I go WOT from a standstill, but it's still usable...for now. :|

Cheers

Has anyone an idea how to fix the chain rattle and jumping tensioner?

It starts 2 weeks ago and I thought it is a Bad tensioner cause the chain line is not clean.
I ordered a new one and built it in but its still the same Problem. If I throttle in Mode 2 the chain starts to rattle and the tensioner jumps around (with a big noise) every 10 second.
The screw is bent (old tensioner) and the frame got damaged. I dont wanna frock up the motor or clutch.

Maybe someone has an Idea

Have you checked to see if you have any stiff links in the chain.
How about the chain. Is it nicely cleaned and well oiled.
Has the front sprocket worn and got hooks.
Is the tensioner moving correctly, has a nice tension and that both rollers are clean and rolling perfectly.
Is the rear cog clean.
Is the rear suspension very soft and has a lot of travel?
Let us know when you find your problem.

Sweet trails Eddy, looked like you were hitting those rocky sections with a good bit of speed :bigthumb:

Yes these trails are super fun and you can carry good speed with a nice flow..
BTW thanks for the pic of your fork brace. This must be a 29" fork and is what i need too. We run the same tires and i don't want to go smaller. Are your rear tire rubbing the rear fender/mudguard too?

Just found the invoice, seems to be a 27.5, maybe the 2019 fork had a bit more clearance?

Fox Shox 36 Float Factory Kashima Fork - Shiny Orange - 15x110mm Boost - Bolt Up - 44mm - 180mm - Grip 2 HSC/LSC HSR/LSR - 2020 - Tapered 1 1-8-1.5 Inch - 27.5 Inch

The rear has a few mm clearance, but then I've got my tyre pressure fairly low in the 20-23psi range

Good thread here with pics showing tyre clearance on Fox forks

Thanks for the answer :)
-checked the chain (no stiff links and well oiled)
- the tensioner is brand new
- the front sprocket looks good In my opinion
- the problem is even without load (So i think not a Suspension problem)

the rear cog is clean and I checked every single screw -> in the clutch is a bit moving from left to right

Could this be the source of the problem ? :?

I have a little wobble of the rear cog freewheel, but not a lot 1mm or so with no belt installed. No Loading.
With the belt on and tensioned, the wobble is gone.
Is this what you are calling the clutch.
How much wobble do you have?
Did you take off the rear wheel. There is a spacer which has to be fitted the correct way round.
One side pushes against the inner bearing shaft and the other side is against the frame.
I can‘t remember which way around it was, but I know it must be fitted correctly.
There‘s no alignment of the rear wheel, as it‘s all fixed.
Can you take a better photo of the tensioner. You seem to have a massive up and down scratch. To me it looks like the chain even hit the swinging arm bolt and goes 3 cms lower.
Are you sure it‘s installed perfectly.
I had another thought. Is the chain worn out. Have you got a lot of sideways movement. Is this a sign of a worn chain.

Haha.. yeah the trails look pretty similar. Where are you located?
Guess you are riding the 64's big brother then  Looks fun!
