Magsy
10 mW
Picked up a couple of the Hailong cases 'G56'.
56 cells with holder and a 52v battery indicator Here
I was excited to build in this case because it looks like they had fixed most of the quirks and I thought it would be fast and easy. It has a better mounting plate and the holder allows you to make a nice 14s4p pack.
However, there is no space for a BMS. I assumed it went at the top and the slight bulge in the back of the case allowed for a thin one.....but no.
I can't seem to find any pictures of one open with a BMS installed.
I did actually glue all the cells and by gaining a few mm over the holder, it is kinda possible to put it on top but it is so tight it feels like an accident waiting to happen.
I have very reasonable size BMS, either JBD/LTT one which is about 100mm x 60mm x 10m or a Neptune 15 which is even smaller.
There is perhaps a sliver of room at the side of the battery for something about 50mm x 50mm x 8mm but I struggle to find a BMS to fit in there.
Anybody have experience to share? Thanks
