I've just got back from the first ride on my new build. 1500w rear hub motor, 18 fett controller with a 52v 20ah battery. This will be my 4th build, 2 with a 1500w voilarmart kit with a 60v battery and a bbshd with a 48v battery and the new build is a beast, I'm so impressed with the Ricetoo rear hub kit it's head and shoulders above the others I've tried.

With a hot of the charger battery I hit a top speed of 39.7mph I was trying so hard to hit 40 but sadly not. Lol. I'm only using the included 900s lcd and I have a kt lcd3 on its way to me any day now, so with me able to configure the controller a little more then possibly 40mph is reachable.

What controller are you using? You may be able to eek out some more top speed with higher tire pressure and/or enabling field weakening.

I'm having trouble uploading the photos for some reason they keep falling. I'll try to remember my photobucket login and try that route.

Thank you, I'm using the kt45A but only with a 900s lcd, but have an lc3 being delivered this week so hopefully with more control over the settings I'll be able to hit 40mph.

Yup I'm guessing that's the same problem I'm having, and imgur to the rescue also..

Hopefully it's uploaded

I'm over the moon with how she's turned out, after a controller set back as in it over heated and after inspecting it the solder traces were actually melted and caused a catastrophic failure. But I'm happy to say that after around 50 miles over the last few days she's running great and even after a 5 mile full bore ride ( 39.7mph) in 27 degrees the controller didn't even get warm.

I've got a few things that I want to do as in a fibre glass box for the entire front triangle to house the battery and electronics but that can wait, I'm going to crack on with the upgrades when the summer is just about over.

Like the style and component choice :bolt: hope going do a 5th bike will keep my eyes open , as you lucky enough to have wridden both 1500w and bbshd , I'm planning on doing a BBS** so thought I'd ask how you felt they compared , is the BBS worth extra cost cheers

Dang bruh! Really like the aesthetic.

Do you have plans to add a torque arm?

Is that bike made from aluminum?

What is in the bag beneath the controller?
