Thats the beauty of bikes, e-bikes,
That looks like a nice ride, how much did you pay whats the power and where is the motor?
G'day Dingo, I paid $1400 originally with 14Ah upgraded 36V battery, base price was about $1100 I think with 10Ah, this base price ranged from $990 to $1200 from the ebay seller in Melbourne: Greenewheels. His shop seems to be closed, as it does do from time to time, but this time it seems to be closed for a longer time..
Bafang brushless geared motor in the rear hub, sold as 200W. Twist throttle and pedelec as well, cruises at 30km/hr, I get a good range from the 14Ah battery. I think these batteries are Li Manganese, 10 cells, balancing BMS on board.
Had one hall effect sensor in the motor go short at 2800km, which I fixed, and had a BMS failure at about 1600km, one of the TO220 FETs desoldered itself, dropped a couple of cm and soldered itself to the other side of the board, was very confusing trying to find the fault for that reason!
Apart from that no other electrical troubles touch wood, have now done 3450km.
The original BB was WOEFUL on this thing, luckily I got a pretty standard 123mm shimano cartridge bearing BB to fit, needed a new crank to do this as well, which I didn't mind, as the original crank is also pretty naff.
