Hobbykings new 5000mAh hardcase LiPos

Just was looking at other configurations of this battery, there is one very bad review of those in 5000mah 2s1p config.

How I understand there was (maybe is) issue with soldering. Does anyone know if it is sorted out by now? I need to order more of this 4s1p packs (about 2KW) and want to be prepared if I need to rip every pack to make them work properly.

The 5ah4s20c packs can be swarmed that knocks the price down to $20.85/pack. I finally get to build a bike out of batteries and these are perfect. Run them through 20-30 cycles to weed out any runts, and then copy my Cannondale SuperV with a lipo+glass+carbon solid composite rectangular tube that will be stronger and more rigid than the original and fit 16 of these packs. To even things out I'll increase the vertical dimension of the main tube by 2.5" to fit 24 packs. 2 wide, 3 high, laid like bricks with gorilla glue as the mortar, then wrapped in glass then carbon cloth, will make it a 20ah89V nominal BattBike. :mrgreen:
 
Sounds like how modern cars are designed.. with no regard for ease of maintenance!

I see they are still out of stock, keep posting up the heads ups on the best deals here..
 
added two packs to the cart last week, went away from my PC for diner and when I was ready to complete the order.. they were sold out !

OMG the shipping prices are now ridiculously good. This is absolutely amazing price. Hopefully these stay in the chain, the ones I've received so far are fantastic.
 
It used to be free shipping for orders over 100 dollars but no luck on that anymore I guess. :cry: Still a good price and US warehouse is fast :mrgreen: Now I can have both ebikes powered up AND have 10 ah. on one. I added a 5s pack to my order :mrgreen:

Just got 7 for $171.80 shipped!!! Great price on both batts and shipping. If somebody can use my buddy code below, unit price for both of us will lower to $22.01 from $23.10.

What is strange is the discount did not pop up for me while logged in. Only after I was logged out and paid and went back to the page. THEN the discount popped up arghh !!
 
Correct me if I'm wrong but this is currently the cheapest lipo available correct? I was going to buy 5000mah 6s turnigy bricks, however it would be much cheaper to construct a 12s pack out of these!!!

Does HK still have the free us warehouse shipping on orders over $100??
