nice grip tape pattern. I like how "hidden" the electronics are from above.

Excellent work on your skateboard! I have an Exkate Raptor 4 and have been using 6S 5000mA batteries and a mamba monster ESC and it runs fine with the brushed motor and I have the same Turnigy out runner motor and have been thinking of putting this motor on but wasn't sure. Glad I found this site and your posts!
Is there regenerative braking -or braking capabilities with this motor?
Also can you takes some pictures of the gear on motor shaft? I want to know how you mounted it on the shaft.
I noticed that on your brother's motor the gear is on the other end can you take some close ups of that.
Awesome work!

This is sooo cool. I now have another toy that I need to make
Will you be able to supply any of those parts for those interested in making one?
Get a Cycle Analyst and a Multimeter, you're still a noob if you don't have at least one of each.

Hey Papo
thanks for posting the close up pictures. I see that you have a threaded shaft on the motor that holds the small gear. Can you give me the specks on the shaft and where did you get the shaft from? My motor came with a 10mm shaft and was wondering how easy to change the shaft on these motors? I see a cotter pin holding the shaft in place is this all I have to remove to change the shaft?
thanks!
