Hello

I have a crystalyte HS3540 front motor which is mounted on a steel fork.
I wanted to actually install a disc brake and tried two brakes unfortunately also not go.
The brake caliper of the Avid Elixir 5 and the Magura Louise grind on the screws of the side housing .With a 160mm brake disc and with a 180mm disc I've tried it and both times I am failed

I want to like to install Avid BB7 brakes. This caliper between the housing has place?

Thanks

i cant post links from my cell but if you press my nickname you'l see a recent thread there about disk brakes.
take a ruller and measure the clearance you got at your disposle.

bb7 take 17mm of space, and some radius brand mentiond there only 14mm.
usually you just add spacer for the disc to move it away from the hub, and if from that the disc moves too close to the forks leg, you add spacer on axle or play with caliper
