Due to the thickness of the motor, using a straight chainring results in an offset of 10 mm in the chainline. The 42 T chainring provides an offset of 9mm which should be ok, but this is too muck for a MTB use. Currently I installed a 36 T with a small offset and I had to disable my largest gear.
My question is does it exist a chainring for BBS02 with 36 or 38 teeth and an offset of 9-10 mm, knowing that it must cover the motor which has a diameter of 125 mm.
Thanking you
