I haven't said this here before, but I have thought it many times when checking out your posts:

I think a motorized "vehicle" (to use the term loosely) that you stand on precariously, that puts you at risk of a basal skull fracture when it takes off without you, is an insane idea. It's so insane, I sort of admire you for being persistently fascinated by it.

haha, that's why its good to wear your helmet :wink:

in reality most of these homebuilt scooters and skateboards have relatively low speed, max of 20 mph, maybe 25mph max...
the main danger is if your ride have a touchy throttle and mucho torque, this is especially problematic on a skateboard due to lack of handlebars...

but considering how fast downhill skaters go, its relatively safe.... :mrgreen:
