Bafang BBS01 CAN throttle not working

No it should not. Throttles usually work in a range of ~1V-4,2V, so it will require the signal to be within that range to operate. edit: the controller firmware might ignore the throttle signal, unless it is plausible when powering on.

Bafang BBS01 CAN throttle not working

I'm just guessing here, but perhaps OpenBafangTool might work(for software, idk. about hardware it needs)?

Where can I find this grey rubber stuff

Try to google for "silicone potting compound", and you should find some.

    BBSHD inner locknut tool

I bought this for my bafang bbs(02, but the nut is same on bbshd), and it works well: https://fasterbikes.eu/en/shop/accessories/tools/bafang-bbs-mounting-tool-m33-nut-tool/

    new tsdz8 pswpower

Took a look at pswpower, and i think this kind of confirms, that their displays are compatible: TSDZ8 TSDZ2B TONGSHENG EKD01 Bluetooth VLCD5 vlcd6 850C B02N VLCD13 VLCD10 XH18-LCD LCD Display for Electric Bicycle Mid Drive Motor Unfortunately they don't carry separate displays in the USA...

BBS-FW: Open Source Firmware for BBSHD/BBS02 Controller

iirc., the controllers have caps w/60V ratings, so you don't want to do that. edit: nvm., came across my old controller, and those caps were indeed 63V, fwiw..

BBS-FW: Open Source Firmware for BBSHD/BBS02 Controller

I'm guessing it's not using the same 8bit mcu anymore. edit: what i'm atm. more curious about is, if a controller w/uart will fit&work in a canbus version of the motor.

Throttle blew up - need advice installing new similar one (with photos)

It should be easy to find, as when you disconnect the harness from controller, and connect that green 5pin into the harness go through them with continuity to find the two non-throttle wires there isn't many possibilities left, since throttle wires are known.

Throttle blew up - need advice installing new similar one (with photos)

Those thick wires in the third pic are phases for the motor. You don't want to touch those, nor should you "go by color" on generic parts like this. Multimeter + that last pic should be enough, but someone who knows those controllers will hopefully come and tell what to connect and where.

    Throttle bypass?

First post; "waiting on my 72-volt throttle". I wouldn't try to bypass that in any way to keep the controller from getting fried while correct throttle is already coming. edit: tbh., i don't see any ebike maker being so dumb, that there would be anything like battery voltage available for the...

BBS-02 Motor shaft won’t come off

Pretty sure i didn't have to wiggle it, or anything, but then i had taken off the axle pedals are on, so pinion was "free". iirc., the nylon gear has a bearing, which does act kind of like a freewheel for the pinion.

BBS-02 Motor shaft won’t come off

Have a look at this, and the thread linked in the post: https://endless-sphere.com/sphere/threads/rattling-issue-bbs02b.127145/#post-1845502

    Rattling issue BBS02B

I wouldn't waste money on the rotor w/o changing that small bearing also.

BBS-02 Motor shaft won’t come off

https://lekkie.tech/product/bearing-kit-bafang-bbs01-and-bbs02-full-set/ The smallest bearing in the pic of above kit is at the other end of that motor shaft, fwiw.. Mine had no glue.
