THUMB & TRIGGER THROTTLE - electric bike or scooter

Here are some pictures of the trigger throttle installed on my scooter. I also have the thumb throttle but prefer the feel of the trigger on my scooter, just feels more natural to me for some reason. May end up using the thumb throttle as a variable Regen/Ebrake when I get a new battery that can handle a higher charge rate. For now Regen is set to my mechanical brake switches (non-variable type). As you can see the voltage range is set in my controllers and is perfectly within 0-5v range with endpoints set. I've calibrated a few times (after controller firmware updates, etc..) and each time the voltage ranges are identical, so the hall sensor inside is very accurate and predictable.
The action of the trigger itself is very smooth and the "pull" range from zero to WOT seems just right to me, not a long throw but not super short. More than enough resolution to adjust how you want the endpoints to feel (if adjustable in your controller). Puts the stock Vsett trigger throttle to shame in all regards lol.
It is made of plastic, but seems quite durable and will last a long time if not abused or crashed. I would suggest buying a spare spring or two just in case. It's very sleek looking and not bulky at all. It has been working flawlessly for me and I really like the design and function. The thumb throttle is just as smooth and well made, again I just prefer the trigger. I would suggest if you order, maybe one of each to see what you like. I bought 2 triggers and 1 thumb and I'm glad I have them. Any future project will most likely be using this same throttle (unless it's a twist/grip throttle.) Overall very happy with it. FYI, the thumb throttle is non directional, so it can easily be used on the left or right side. The trigger is directional and currently only usable on the right side of the bars. I asked about a left handed trigger (for Regen) but they said those are not currently being made. Maybe in the future if enough requests. The seller was very helpful and responsive. The Higo waterproof connectors they sell are awesome. I used them everywhere on my setup for serviceability reasons. They are genuine Higo connectors and really can't get any better than that.
They offer the 3 pin Higo connector on the throttle itself in 3 different wiring configurations. I actually ordered the wrong one but it's literally just the wire colors that are different. A "wrong" throttle plug can easily be wired to work, just have to map the wires (each wire map is provided on their website) according to your setup. You may have red wire to black wire or something funky, but it's easy to figure out if your "colors" don't match.
If someone can walk me thru how to post a video, I'd be happy to do that. My phone saves as MP4 format and ES apparently won't upload
Any other questions just let me know. I'd be happy to help and share as much as I can :bigthumb:

What is the action on those trigger throttles?
Do you pull towards you to increase or push away from you?
Trying to understand how they might work for me on my bike.
Currently, I have a thumb on the underside of my handle bars. Push away from me to increase speed.
It is not horrible but a little uncomfortable due to the length of the throttle arm.
I think a more compact lever will work better for me

Nice nuc by the way, haha

Depends on how you mount it. ;)

they would push forward/down to increase

If you mount them the other way, they would pull back to increase.

Eaiser to see in this image
https://endless-sphere.com/forums/download/file.php?id=312061 for how the mounting vs the operation direction works.

The "knob" / post can be moved to either side for left/right mounting.
