    new cyclone 3000 w mid-drive kit?

Well, after building 1 Cyclone powered eBike and 3 Cyclone powered eTrikes, I figured that one more Cyclone eBike wouldn't hurt so my son and I got this one built in under 4 hours, and it works great. Love the new motor mounting angled plate, and the waterproof connectors... It was as easy as it...

Nucular electronics - complete kit for ev!

Thanks guys, I get it... but if someone's preorder from October isn't delivered yet.. 6 months after spending almost 400 is never going to happen. I already have a cheapo... had one for 2 years already. Maybe when the October preorders are fulfilled I'll think about it. ASI makes some decent...

Nucular electronics - complete kit for ev!

The latest controller is always the best controller. When someone who ordered his in October last year and hasn't gotten it yet, that doesn't sound very promising. I am really glad you like yours, but I am already looking at other, available, options that will be better than what I have now. G.

Nucular electronics - complete kit for ev!

Hi VasiliSk, So, do you know what the setup for the motor hall sensors on a Cyclone is? Does anyone who has done this for a C3000W motor have some wiring diagrams as to how to connect the C3000W motor to the Nucular? Thanks. G.

    new cyclone 3000 w mid-drive kit?

I run that controller shunted to 60A, works very well. I did set the phase to 50% and adjusted a few settings to smooth it out and it seems to be less twitchy than the non BT one. Stock wasn't different from the non BT one. G.

Nucular electronics - complete kit for ev!

I am interested in a 12FET one for a Cyclone 3k/4k motor. Are there any tips or guides as to how to install these on the C3000W motor? How well does it work? Is it noticeably better over the stock BT controller? Thanks. G.

    new cyclone 3000 w mid-drive kit?

Hey there Robo, thanks man. Glad to hear you still post here too! Its been a long time. This is the third trike I build now, three Cyclone powered e-Trikes, and 2 Cyclone eBikes, all very fast... and all very fun to drive. :) You still towing the endless trailer? G.

    new cyclone 3000 w mid-drive kit?

Its a Cyclone 3000W powered e-trike/velomobile, and this is the Cyclone 3000W thread. All my eBikes, eTrikes all use Cyclone 3000W motors. G.

    new cyclone 3000 w mid-drive kit?

    new cyclone 3000 w mid-drive kit?

Well, you have to remember that these kits came out well over 5 years ago, the eBike landscape looked quite different then... the original kit was probably designed to be pedaled too, at about 100 RPM cadence or so... hence the planetary. The 7500XL Cyclone has no planetary, that's probably the...

    KMX Franken Trike 12-18kw Build

Wassup man, long time no post... how is this project going? Any traction? :D Remember you don't need 18kW to hit 70!!, all you need is some fancy aeroshell, and gears. :D The 100 mile range is certainly now within A-3's grasp... just need to build a new battery... :) G.

    OK, who rides a recumbent???

Accept nothing but recumbents... :D pretty cool to see more people riding these. Here is my latest creation... (the one on the left) Pretty fun to ride, the body made the rainy and cold days also fun to ride... :D G.

    new cyclone 3000 w mid-drive kit?

Wassup folks, long time no post... I see there is the ruthless pursuit of powa going on... pretty cool... 150 amps! How is the chain holding? :D insane power. So, last year around March, after the winter subsided I realized I couldn't endure/fare another Wisconsin winter riding A-1, a full open...

100+ Miles of Fun per Charge: 5.1kWh batt, 20kw capable

I never omitted the years of testing on purpose, you assumed that. The same way the OP never had imply that he has spent some time building large battery packs prior to the 5.1kWh pack; building packs correctly takes skill too; and one just don't wake up one day and know how to assemble 5.1 kWh...

100+ Miles of Fun per Charge: 5.1kWh batt, 20kw capable

And where, if I may ask, where do you get that its easy to do? Its NOT easy to do, but that's what you'd hope. Extracting every bit of Wh/mile out of my trike was a 2 years process of trial/error, learning how to thermoform panels, then building gradually more complex panels, plates, damns...

100+ Miles of Fun per Charge: 5.1kWh batt, 20kw capable

Thanks. And yeah, I agree, brute force always works, and if it doesn't its just because you didn't use enough brute force. :) G.

100+ Miles of Fun per Charge: 5.1kWh batt, 20kw capable

No, your stance or different opinions are not an attack; however, the way you crafted your responses selectively targeting things like what my aero trike can't do just to prove a point that is simply put, not true; thus perpetuating the false belief that aero doesn't matter at 20 mph... I think...

100+ Miles of Fun per Charge: 5.1kWh batt, 20kw capable

Given the way you reacted to these comments then perhaps there is some truth to them. Grow up. You see, every comment you've made since your first one in this matter has been aimed to discredit me b/c one reason or another. And I don't want to show you, in particular, anything, period; well...

100+ Miles of Fun per Charge: 5.1kWh batt, 20kw capable

Tell me, doesn't it bother you not to have something to show for? B/c those personal attacks towards me clearly shows you have nothing to show for, so move on dude. And grow up, stop insulting others, doesn't solve the problem, DEAL WITH IT... or what? are you going to cry, or perhaps try punch...

100+ Miles of Fun per Charge: 5.1kWh batt, 20kw capable

You have to get to the "rocks and logs" somehow, and to do so you have to ride on the road. An unfaired trike has already a pretty good CdA to begin with, so adding a front fairing isn't going to make much of a difference... to see noticeable differences it requires a lot of work on the...

    new cyclone 3000 w mid-drive kit?

Speaks the guy who only managed 60 miles out of a chain... heck that wouldn't even be 1 hour of running at 60 mph on my trike... dude, you can't even build an eBike right with similar components of what I've gotten thousands of trouble free miles, who are you to give advice about how to build or...
