    wish i had pics but they are on my old laptop. basically imagine the p groups look like sections in a box cutter blade, except the ends.

    beautifully made pack. i made one similar then another one after that. i realised you dont need to do the zigzag pattern! it can be all done with straight diagonal shapes except the groups at the ends of the pack, still need some curvy tailoring. much quicker to cut out and weld that way.

    yep hopefully. its more that some may use copper scrap from a hot water cylinder or something that has been designed to withstand corrosion and not realize.

    Thanks Markz. Iv now got myself one of the oldshool ichargers, 3010b coming in post. I decided I didnt like the new ichargers with touch screens as I know how easy they are to break one way or another, and as if to confirm that, i saw in your link there, buddy rc selling replacement screens...

    apparently there are some copper alloys that contain phosphorus for anti corrosion properties. they can be 30% less conductive than electrical grade types. something to be aware of.

    is this what they call active balancing? iv done it while charging my pack with adaptto, using the hyperion to boost the low cells .it certainly works....til the hyperion blows :D

    yeah variable regen is quite uncommon in older controllers i think. its one of the features i could not do without.

    variable regen is usually activated with a thumb throttle, at least that's what i use for my adaptto controllers. id say the others work the same, basically a variable signal wire, gnd ,+5v kinda deal.

    Efun xtreme has different motor types depending on how old the model is. if its 6 phase(6 phase wires) you can use 2 3 phase controllers with regen in this case. pics would help id the motor.
