    Polyurethane foam is an insulator, so I would assume it has a very low conductivity and would not transfer much of anything between the battery and the foam.

    Painting hot objects black is actually a good thing as black radiates heat better. It allows them to radiate their internal heat out.

    Have you tried a video conference with Boxxbike support, they are usually very helpful. But if you have a a chain issue, any motorcycle shop should be able to look at it in case something is out of alignment.
