    Wow, i totally messup up there :lol: i guess i was more tired than i thought when i posted it. But yeah i have a 24S pack , so i guess i would need a 24S VESC. The fardriver 96 is on my shortlist for the moment. My SeVCON is a pretty solid controller but programming it is a nightmare.

    i would be very surprised if you get a 100 miles from it. for comparission. the Silence S01 motorscooter has a 7kw hub motor and a 5kwh battery. its range is about 100km or about 62 miles.

    yeah i thought of that but i guess it would depend on the quality of the used parts? my 73V Sevcon gen 4 controller has no issues whatsoever with running on 100 volts. it doenst even get warm.

    I didnt really plan on 24S my 20S battery pack died, and i could get my hands on some samsung SDI power pack modules. They come in 12S so i put two of them in series. I already had a bms that could handle 24S I could convert back to 72V but that would mean i have to open one of the packs...

    Help for Sevcon Controller troubleshooting Sin Cos warning, sensor issue

    you say that after you switch it off and then back on , the problem returns? Do you have access to DVT software so you can check if the settings in the controller have changed? ( seems unlikely to me) an oscilloscope to see the encoder signal might be a very usefull tool. regards, sander
