For a grid tie system you can use a regular PV inverter that is capable of zero feed in. Just be aware that most inverters are limited for ~13amps or so per tracker, so 2kW in your case. If you need more than 2kW you can use one that has 2 trackers and connect them in parrallel to your battery

a friend just reciently had a similar issue. The motor casing was filled with a lot of water so the motor thought that the brake levers where pressed. Releasing the water solved the issue

me too. Make sure you get an ESP one from SRAM. I have best experience with the X3 dereilleur and 8speed cassettes. Shifts easier and better then more expensive 9 and 10-speed systems.

either axial or radial offset. I chose radial, otherwise the chain would have interfered with the frame. I am stuck with 36T bycicle chain though, larger diameter would not fit togehter with a 203mm brake disc.

more sprocket offset means it is more likely that the chain interferes with the frame, thats why i kept it low

Why not use a custom lazer cut one? I mean there is plenty of space, a 400mm or 16 inch dia #219 one with ~160t to 12t would be a 13:1 reduction. I dont know how fast this thing wants to spin, but i think that is in the range of the OEM swing arm with belt reduction, that was i think 5 to one...
