    Does anyone have an approach to buying sla 3x36v 12ah batteries. My local electric bike shop is selling a pack already wired for $105 (manufacturer: Weida). How can I know if they are of good quality...or are they all the same? Can they be tested at the shop before I buy them?

    OK. My aim was a little high regarding batteries. For now the LiFePO4 is too expensive. I think I'll go for the sla at 36 volts.
