    Rectifier Huawei R4850G2 48V 42~58V 3000w

That makes sense ... thanks! For clarity, is the diode you circled D310 on the schematic? The diode doesn't look too hard to remove with a hot air gun assuming the module is not too hard to access. However, would removing the diode cause DC-DC converter output disruption in some situations?

    Rectifier Huawei R4850G2 48V 42~58V 3000w

Thanks. For temporary testing, I had only Kapton tape on the bottom covering contact "6" so the pre-charge contacts on the top remain accessible. The result is that the in-rush spark appears to be less when connecting to battery without first powering on the R4850g2 *and* the output does not...

    Rectifier Huawei R4850G2 48V 42~58V 3000w

Does the contact "6" control output enable/disable?

    Rectifier Huawei R4850G2 48V 42~58V 3000w

That seems different from my experience. I see a pretty big spark that suggests a much higher in-rush current than 17A. Perhaps it's because I added the Kapton tape mod (https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=86038&start=175#p1723367) provided by OhmSchool? I would like to...

    Rectifier Huawei R4850G2 48V 42~58V 3000w

Thank you. That's great to know. Is there any special charging procedure for parallel setup? I have been using a single unit with the edge card adapter and it seems I have to power on the unit before connecting to the battery (LiFePO4) to avoid in-rush spark. Is this typical for you? I am...

    Rectifier Huawei R4850G2 48V 42~58V 3000w

Thanks for the solution. It worked as described but I am wondering if it disables the pre-charge function?

Thanks, that's good to know. Do you run them in parallel?

    Rectifier Huawei R4850G2 48V 42~58V 3000w

Thanks for sharing the test results. Were you able to figure out the the high temp issue? It doesn't seem practical to charge with 70C temp. I don't see the such high temp using only one charger so I wonder if the parallel setup is causing the issue. How do you physically parallel the...

    HP ESP120 48V (51.4V) 57A 3KW Server Supply Thread

It's old thread but I am having same issue. Is your PSU still working after it recovered? Any idea why it started working again? I don't understand how applying 220VDC would fix the issue.
