How do I run headlight off battery?

I use this type, direct to the battery up to 80v, 20w is very bright but 8w should do or have a couple with switching between. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/12V-80V-20W-LED-Headlight-Handlebar-Universal-Lamp-for-E-bike-Motorcycle-/152471519092?hash=item238002bf74

    My Wife Sold My Bike

Yes true if you shake off the K's, but this gets used for long and heavy sometimes two up hauls for overnight camping with maybe a dozen beers on board, don't get me wrong I love the way Ev's are going and there have been some ebikes that crossed this country with camp gear (about...

    My Wife Sold My Bike

All good within city limits, I really do wish battery technology would improve enough to get 200 miles plus on a charge, until then I'd ride my clunker and couldn't give a hop about a quick duct taped commuter, rides out here could get through several countries elsewhere.

    Unprotected Ryobi One+ Battery?

Well I did give it a go, it ran fine without blade but when I tried to mow it ran then cut-out and there seemed to be more sparking at the brushes, the part cost $40 from USA and also brakes the blade, I'm cutting again :D

Looking for fake engine and engine sound for E-chopper

I seem to remember that one but there have been some better built bikes that have the ice look, the juicer comes to mind and there was another one featured here but can't remember the name and if you want the Harley sound Chalo's farting horse would be as close as you'll get

Wanted:Ebike that looks like a Motorcycle

Phew! found it...https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=36456&p=528260#p528260 a shame about Photobucket hosting, I don't know why he didn't carry on the discussion here, I can see why Amberwolf gets annoyed at multiple threads on the same topic

Wanted:Ebike that looks like a Motorcycle

I clicked that it was a six yo post but was looking forward to finding what he settled on, times have changed in what is a available now although the yuba mundo https://cargocycles.com.au/yuba-mundo/ had been around for some time but I doubt these fat cargo bikes were

Cyclist spits at me and makes a buzzing noise !

That is your typical roady mentality, he feels he is better than you cause he hasn't got power assist and can still kick ass, it's their massive swelling ego

Cyclist spits at me and makes a buzzing noise !

He was stopped on the white line but I wanted to get some reason for his action but pulling up on his drivers side and taking his keys would have got a good reaction

Cyclist spits at me and makes a buzzing noise !

There was a car guy that pulled out from a side street that deliberately came in too close to me as he entered the same lane, at the next set of lights I questioned his reason for this asking what his problem was, there was this typical overweight young guy in an overweight car, smokes in the...

    Unprotected Ryobi One+ Battery?

This is the culprit, but with no visual signs of any burns it does have that burnt out stink inside, I did all checks, switch is fine, brushes all check out and I connected directly from battery to motor (blade removed) and it spins fine and after reading Dogmans post seems I have nothing to...

    Unprotected Ryobi One+ Battery?

If it's brushed I think it is a soft start PCB module, circuit or whatever, this recently went on my 36v ryobi stopping it with no other faults and I was wondering whether I could just bi-pass it or not

Found this very tempting bicycle frame... who's gonna do it?

On second look I see only rear brake and a fixed crank so slowing is done by resistance pedaling, personally I would leave as is as a fun pedal only or very low power assist, maybe a rear hub with regen would work

Found this very tempting bicycle frame... who's gonna do it?

a very old design, a penny farthing, keep as much weight over the rear wheel cause a hard brake will see you kissing the bitumin
