    Motorino XPn Chinese ebike (scooter)

The amps were measured with a Cycle Analyst and a shunt, not with the controller. But I don't care anymore, I pollute by burning fossile fuel, and I eat lots of meat.

    Motorino XPn Chinese ebike (scooter)

Don't know, don't care. I didn't want to spend time or money to fix it so I parted it out and sold everything. I need the room in the garage for another motorcycle coming in.

    Motorino XPn Chinese ebike (scooter)

Never had an issue with the motor. It never got hot, even on the hottest Summer days.

    Honda Ruckus conversion plans..

You bring up a lot if good points, but I gotta say that even if you can't pedal a heavy Ruckus, it just looks much cooler than a Walmart stand up scooter with cut off sleeves, capri pants and flip flops. 😁😁😁

Kawasaki ninja to electric, chain or hub, ideas?

Consider what you want to do with the bike. If it's a commuter that you don't plan to drive like a maniac, a hub motor will do just fine and leave more room for a bigger battery. As it was said, it will change the dynamics of the rear suspension but this will not be a problem if the bike is...

What is the optimum build for a long range light motorbike/ebike?

Then the answer is no. Sorry but the parts are not readily available for a 400+ km range bike at 60+ km/h.

Electric Scooter Conversion - Polish WFM Osa M52

Looking at the motors again, it looks like you have to go for a 2.75'' rim to get the highest wattage.

How about this controller? Check the dimensions to see if you can fit it somewhere in your scoot, it's a big controller...

    Planning a Vespa conversion

I had the same problem trying to find a suitable BMS for my scooter a few years ago. So I made this, not a BMS but more of a LVA/HVA. Low voltage and high voltage alarm using 4 Cellogs 8M. It's been working for me.

    Lambretta University Project

There is a good reason why scooter conversions are often done with a hub motor. It is easy, and no sprockets and chain to deal with. Much quieter and leaves a lot more room in the belly of the scoot for a larger battery that will give more power and range. You can get peaks of 40+ hp with a 5kw...

    Planning a Vespa conversion

Contact QS Motors and explain your requirements and they will recommend a good match between motor and controller for your project. I had a good experience with them when I did my scoot.

    Kelly KLS-H Controller Wiring Query

This is what I did to my scooter with my Kelly controller and QS motor. No issues since I did this and use the scooter very often. https://oi177.photobucket.com/albums/w202/mistercrash1964/Motorino/XPn%20wiring%20diagram_with_kelly_ca1_zpsc25qvreu.jpg~original
