50k limit and inserting posts to existing threads

I was updating my newbie FAQ, adding a section on Battery line current vs Motor phase current, and after a lot of typing and editing, I received an error for exceeding the 50k character limit. I hadn't anticipated this limit when I started the thread, but it makes sense that a limit exists.
I've structured the FAQ to have all of the information at the top of the thread, allowing for comments and suggestions in the remainder of the thread.

My question is, is there any way around the limit? I'd like to keep the current format with all of the FAQ info at the beginning of the thread. If there's no workaround, I'm wondering if there is a way to insert a new blank post below the first, in order to continue to FAQ info in the second post of the thread.

EDIT: In case something fancy can't work, I've thought of another approach, that would probably work, if the admins have the ability to combine of few of the early posts, etc.

I do not have a good answer for you.

We could start a 2026 thread ( with extra posts ) and i could move your first post in; rename the carcass the previous version thread and unfortunately disconnect the commenting history.

I could use/edit post #3 to continue my FAQ, if you could:
Move the contents of post #2 and #3 into post #4, if 99t4 is ok with that.
if so, post #2 could be deleted, unless there's some way to assign ownership to me, once the contents has been moved. That would be ideal.

Unfortunately, no way to assign ownership to you or re-order any posts.
Can't even copy a thread then fix it.
Sorry, options are very limited.

No problem. I’ll just edit post #3; that should be enough space for a few years lol

No problemo!
I copied your post #2 into the bottom of my post #3 in order to keep the history.
If you could review and then delete post #2 if everything looks good, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks again!
