Adapter for Magura Caliper on Stealth Bomber frame

Hi Everyone,

I recently bought a Magura MT5e HIGO Opener 3-Finger Hydraulic Disc Brake to use on my stealth bomber ebike.

When I attempted to fit it I noticed that it wouldn't fit on the frame and needed an adapter. I contacted Magura but they couldn't tell me which adapter I needed and wouldn't send me the dimensions of their adapters so I could work it out for myself.

Has anyone had a similar issue and found which adapter they need?

I'm currently using a 180mm rotor but I'm planning on upgrading to a magura rotor so happy to change the rotor size when I do that if it helps.

I also have the issue that the brake sensor cable that is attached to the lever is a two pin red Julet connector while the control has a three pin yellow connector. Does anyone know of an adapter or a way to solve that issue without cutting the cable open and doing some soldering?

Thanks!

No idea on the mounting/adapter, but I can speak to the sensor wiring. Two pin levers can be easily adapted to the three-pin with a solder/splice as you mentioned. There is quite a bit of documentation around this - I recently posted having done this with some two-pin Tektro levers. There are actually adapter plugs made that are available on Ebay to go from the two to the three-pin levers, but I would still recommend a simple splice/solder/heat shrink to save length, complication, and cost.

Hello sir,

usually stealth bombers use a 180mm rotor, is the 180 adapter you are missing or other size?

about the controller we need photos or the model of the controller, each controller have a different way to connect the regen, if you say your regen from the controller have 3 wires there is a change it is a variable regen, it will be very easy to adapt for sure but you need to tell us more details.
