Any Canadian or North American battery pack suppliers?

Hi All,

I am looking to build an electric sport motorcycle. I am wondering if anyone has any good links to North American battery pack/cell suppliers?

The pack I want would need around 110 V+ and 60Ah + .
The discharge rating for continuous would ideally be at least 5C (or greater) continuous and 10C (or greater) pulse.

I would prefer pouch cells since they take up less space and reduce weight. I am open to already made modules or individual pouch cells.

IMO best is to learn to DIY.

Next best:

1. identify a recommended pack maker, maybe a separate case fabricator

2. find a great deal on a matched batch of cells

likely need to self-import

buy say 30% more than you think you need

3. Sort them out testing and matching into the xPyS sets, and

4. send those to your pack maker

I deal with Phenom Battery in Vancouver/Cloverdale BC. Ive never got a counterfeit or bunk Battery from them, even the used batteries are tested and good and he moves a good volume at fair prices, also a battery builder

If you are Canadian i recommend 18650 cells Canada can be your supplier, a power full electric motorcycle need a good battery pack and if you can fix your self is better IMHO then dealing with someone. Those cells seem interesting, good day!

Spider Battery Systems can do things other builders can't like flat packs for esk8 and custom shapes and sizes that are unusual. He's based out of southern Ontario but I get his batteries shipped to Vancouver no problem. Great pricing too idfk how he makes money on it.
