Bosch error 680 Button issue

I've had some issues with a Bosch powertube turning on and off by itself. The bike also turns on and off randomly because of this. After a while it gave error 680.
This can be solved by bending the button mechanism or even removing it.

It's a very flimsy mechanism. It's also the only spot where water enters into the battery (to be fair only when submerged, I tested this), because the button is just a sticker.
