Hello,
I damaged my original TSDZ8 controller while flashing OSF firmware because I forgot to disconnect the battery during programming.
I bought a replacement controller but unfortunately it has a 9-pin harness, while my bike uses a 1T4 cable with 8 wires.
My setup:
Motor: TSDZ8
Firmware: OSF
Display: 860C
Harness: 1T4 (8 wire version)
Current situation:
Display powers on normally
Battery voltage is present
But there is no communication with controller
Motor does not respond
I attached photos of both cable sides and wire colors.
Controller side wire colors (9 wires):
red
blue
yellow
green
purple
black
grey
white
brown
Harness side (8 wires):
red
blue
yellow
green
black
white
orange
brown
Does anyone have:
TSDZ8 9 pin pinout diagram
Color mapping between 9-pin and 8-pin harness?
Information which wire is TX/RX/GND/5V?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a link to the controller you bought?

Link says the 9 wire setup uses a DFL-11 display. You could roll the dice. The extra wire is it the gray one? Maybe it supports lights and the others colors have the same function. Look at you old controller and see if the same colors terminate in the same places on the old circuit board, just to be sure.

Everything is clear now. It didn’t work because the controller I received had a short circuit. It arrived damaged/defective.

I’m in the exactly same boat and purchased the same controller from the supplier - how did you test the new controller to determine it defective/damaged?
