DIY Go-kart with Vesc hardware

Hey, I'm building a Go-kart that uses Esk8 part to move it. Because why not?
This is my first post in a while so I'm not sure what to include so ask me anything.
The main reason why I'm making this is because I'm having trouble figuring out how to give
my kart forward, brake and reverse. Right now its just got forward and brake.
The Vesc I'm using is the Flipsky dual 75100, and Im controlling it with 2 pedals using adc1 and 2.
Any advice is appreciated.
