Two gigantic atmospheric river systems over the west and central Pacific. Let’s see if they evaporate before they reach the left coast.

Another cutoff low spinning around offshore that's giving the computer models indigestion. They're guessing we'll get somewhere between zero and half an inch here.

A very active Pacific, although the Atmospheric River is detached from the current system it looks like the next one might pack a punch.
Right now only widely scattered showers here but the smell of skunk at the house. Could just be the clouds coming from the neighbor’s place.

got some sprinkles half an hour ago, but that's probably it for the system. Nothing before that today or yesterday, can see it clearing up out there so not likely antyhing further tonight either.

We can see where the atmospheric river fire hose is aiming at now. Over 10" in places on top of what they already have is going to make things pretty soggy along the north coast. They are predicting it might swing further south next week.

Pitaya Express going from the equator to the east coast.
Atmospheric River bandied about on the news every storm but just evaporated before the rain got here.
:cautious:
High pressure now dominates the North Pacific. Bone dry conditions prevail.
