Hi all its me again, with my ?-watt brushed hub motor XD. I recently finsihed my EBMX build and tried a test run up and down the street. when i put my hand on the motor it was quite hot even though it barely ran. any tips on cooling mods i can do to stop overheating?

Forced air injection is good for stationary motors, but there's nothing practical for a hub unfortunately.

All you can do is reduce the heating load. So, use a small wheel, get in an aero tuck, avoid inclines, and be gentle with the throttle.
