How to calibrate or arm castle creation

hi guys i got my esc but i assume i dont have the right controller to arm it when i plug it in it blinks red which it says its not armed to my tx but i look at all the videos about it but i cant figure it out. anyhelp would be cool.

I have a few of them and they all sinked right up. what Rx/Tx do you have?
Do you have the castle link cable and software yet?

One thing to note: Turn on your transmitter before you turn on your esc.

im using the ice2 hv120 amp esc and HobbyKing® ™HK-GT2B remote. i turn on the receiver first

Hobbyking?...not castle? Why'd you ask about Castle then?

the ice2 is a castle creation esc i just use a hobbie king reciever

Oh ok...I use the XL2 and Mambas. The controller might be your issue. so far I havent had good luck with HK's controllers. do you have another one maybe?
