According to reports from TechRadar, Huawei asserts that this new battery technology can deliver an astonishing range of up to 1,800 miles on a single charge while achieving a full recharge in under five minutes. If verified, these specifications could position Huawei as a formidable player in the EV battery race, challenging established leaders like Tesla, BYD, and CATL.
Sounds good ?…..but is it practical ?
…how would you charge such a battery in 5 mins ?
At 5 miles per kWh, that would imply a 360 kWh battery capacity.
and, charging in 5 mins would require 4.3 MW , …or with a typical 400v pack, 11,000 amps !
..there might need to be a bit of infrastructure upgrades to provide that level of charge power .

They could up the Volts to the 800V range. It's craze 1800 miles. How will ICE keep up. Gas tank up grades. Cars will come with 60 ga tanks. :)

Sure , 800v and slow the charge time to 10 minutes.
But it would still need 1+ MW feed..
ICEs don’t need to keep up, a couple of 5 min refills and you are done !
But who wants / can drive 1800 ml non stop anyway ? ..
I don't like 301 miles with out stopping. Had a 1983 Chev blazer Diesel 20 mph 30ga tank, yep 600 miles. Never drove that far to run it out. Done a lot of driving in my time. Have no interest in driving anywhere unless it's on a E-bike/trike.

I'm not impress with all the hoop la with EV's or ICE. Just want some solar panels.
